You’ll want to be there as the Mudds celebrate the close of their 50th Anniversary season with the crème de la crème of musical theatre. Set in 1938, The Sound of Music is an old favourite for many and perhaps a new experience for others. It’s the intriguing story of Maria, a young novice nun who can’t quite conform to abbey life. After becoming a governess to 7 children, she creates her own brand of chaos in the villa of widower Captain von Trapp. The audience is treated to Maria’s enchanting antics, mixed in with adorable children, and music that will make your heart sing. Of course, every story has a dark side and this one is no exemption. Officers from the Third Reich threaten to pull the family apart. Will the family be able to escape in time?

Directors Patti and Jon Lockhart put a fresh spin on an old classic, with the help of a very talented crew.
